I am Tiffer, and I started the blog Tiffer Time it is a travel blog for bikini babes all over. 

Basically, if you are a sun chaser that loves to travel to all the warm and tropical locations and want all the insider scoops you will love my site. 

I am a Florida girl native who moved to San Francisco the summer of 2017. Talk about a culture shock! Ahh, I had no idea what I was getting into, so I am constantly searching out my next warm weather adventure to prance around in my bikini!

When I am not in my bikini or curled up on my laptop writing to YOU. I am out exploring my new home. 

I love finding the best hidden gems in a city and of course doing the obvious tourist activities too. I recently found a love for hiking and I could not think of a more beautiful way to fall in love with the Golden State.

My husband and I have always been travelers and outside of snowboarding (which I absolutely love, even though I spend half of the time on my ass or at the bar) we tend to hit the warm and tropical locations. You won’t just find me hitting up the islands but #goals!

Rose is my Favorite Color

Another love of mine is the VINO! I literally say ‘wine not’ instead of why not. I may have a problem, but another reason why Cali is amaze balls is the wine. It is so good and wine tasting has become one of my favorite hobbies. 

Any chance I get, I go. Tasting rooms, vineyards and just the good ole samples at Total Wine, I am always about that red, red wine oh and rose of course! #roseallday

So, here is the deal, I write because I love what I do (adventures, hiking, wine tasting, chasing the sun, travel, all of it) I am super passionate especially when I think I found the secret sauce or insider scoop. 

I am a sharer by nature and want nothing more than for YOU to reap the benefits.

Have you ever gotten FOMO or saw on Insta someone traveling somewhere amazing that you could only dream of going but feel like it will never happen? 

I HAVE!!!! It sucks having that feeling, and one day with the support of my bestie/hubby I was able to take the leap, leave the J-O-B and start my journey to financial freedom and basically traveling any chance I have.

I want to share this journey with you and help you do it to. Whether it is to work for yourself, create a brand or product or just make a little extra cash to finally go on your dream vacay! Definition of Tiffer Time

Tiffer Time by definition is having fun with friends, you will likely be laughing, enjoying a cocktail in the sun.  

It can also be a mindset, it is about being positive and open to new adventures. 

Tiffer Time is about having fun and all the things YOU can do to have fun in San Francisco, Florida,  Vegas, Austin, Mexico, Hawaii, you name it I travel there and share it with YOU.

How a Florida Girl ended up in Cali

Before our move to California, we dated for six and a half years and fell in love.

We met in Jacksonville, Florida where I went to college at University of North Florida and he was stationed with the Coast Guard. 

After his tour in Jacksonville he was stationed in Miami and LOVED me sooo much he asked me to come!  We lived it up in Fort Lauderdale for a few years, I found my dream job and then it was transfer season. We move every four years.

First comes love, then comes marriage!

Before we left Fort Lauderdale, Mikee surprised me and asked me to be his wife! 

After 6 and a half years of dating, of course I said yes! 

We deiced to have a simple, wedding at the courthouse about a month after we got engaged.  Two months later, we hit the road to California!

I know this all sounds crazy, but it is true. 

We took our honeymoon on the road with us to California. I could not ask for a better honeymoon then to drive cross country.

When we got to California, I got a job at a tech startup in the city. After about 8 months at the company, I decided I wanted to do something else.

Blogging and writing is something that has always been an interest of mine. 

I  read about it, follow other blogs on Pinterest and Instagram. Like many others I did not think it was something I could do. 

But, why not? 

Mikee encouraged me to start my own business and once I explained that I can in fact make money, he was fully committed. 

He is always supportive of me, even if my ideas are crazy!

10 Things About Me!

  1. Sun Chaser – beach, boat, pool, hiking you name it I am there (my dermatologist hates me)!
  2. Competitive – sometimes too much!
  3. Wine Lover (Red, Red Wine) – Of course I have the scoop on Napa, Sonoma, and Healdsburg.
  4. Athletic – I love to sweat it out at least 5 days a week, it helps me get my mind right for the day.  My go-to workout is Tone It Up. 
  5. Organized & Detailed– like the color coordinated closet, list making kind. You will see a lot of lists. 
  6. Love Laughing – I will do just about anything to make someone laugh.
  7. Shopping – I love it so much, even just shopping at the grocery store!
  8. Helping – whether it is friends, acquaintances or a stranger I want to help. 
  9. Natural Promoter – if I love something, I tell everyone! Really honest too, my word is everything.
  10. Positive Attitude – I get it the world is not all rainbows and sunshine, but I try to look on the positive  side (glass half full… of wine)!

What can you find on Tiffer Time?

A big focus for me is exploring my new home on the West Coast, some say the ‘BEST Coast’. I have mastered the ins and outs of San Francisco, Napa Valley, Sonoma, and Healdsburg. 

Mikee and I love to travel and honestly, have a problem saying no to getting out of town. That being said, I will share all the places we go to and some of the places we’ve visited in the past. To name a few Jamaica, Scottsdale, Arizona and a few spots in Florida.

  1. SF and Bay Area: tourist must do, locals guide, hiking, restaurants
  2. Travel: Vegas, Austin, Mexico, New Orleans, Grand Canyon, Florida
  3. Where to next: Bucket list trips in the making.

My biggest fan & love of my life

  1. Who: Mikol  Sullivan, he goes by Mikee
  2. How long have we been together: We started dating in November, 2010. On April 21st, 2017 we got married! 
  3. Where’d you meet: Mellow Mushroom in Jacksonville, Florida on ladies night!
  4. What does he do: Coast Guard Rescue Swimmer, just like Ashton Kutcher in the Guardian. 
  5. Describe him in 3 words: honest, loving, fun. 
  6. We love to: travel together and laugh LOL.
  7. What he loves: me (duh), skateboarding, surfing, traveling, snowboarding, and puppies.
  8. What do we fight about: Where to eat, LOL.
